Guidelines for participating in On-line Counseling

  1. The detailed procedure is described below:
  2. Visit the website http://psst.eadmissions.net or www.jrrsanskrituniversity.ac.in 
  3. Login using your Control number and Password generated while filling online application of PSST 2011. In case you forgot your control number and password both, you can get the again by pressing the button, “Get Control number and Password. (Candidates)”. By giving your Name, Roll number and Date of birth you will get them on screen again. Kindly note them carefully as you will need them in future. 
  4. In case you forgot your password only then click on the button “Forgot Password”. Your password will be mailed to your email address.
  5. Those candidates who left some important fields blank are given one more option to fill this. They will be directed to the page with fields left blank. They should fill these details so that their merit / seat allotment is worked out correctly. 
  6. After you are logged in you should download your challan. Deposit Rs 2000 in your nearest Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) branch. The bank person will return two parts of your challan duly stamped and with TRANSACTION ID written on it. Please confirm the transaction ID from the bank person. 
  7. Next day / 24 hrs later (after depositing your fee) you should visit the website again. Login and press the button “Fill Transaction ID”. There after you can select your choices. 
  8. On the home page you can see the “COLLEGE LIST” for availability of seats in various colleges.
  9. On the Choice selection page, press “Add New Choice” to add new record. Select the desired college and Press “UPDATE” button. This shall be repeated for adding each new college. You can press button “Save Choices” in between and again start adding choices by pressing “Modify Choices”. Finally save the choices selected and take a printout for future reference. Logout to end the internet session. 
  10. Candidates are permitted to change preference of their Colleges, delete and add new Colleges any number of times before the last date / time and till they lock their choices. Candidates can consult their Parents, Teachers, Friends and others for advice. 
  11. ‘Filled Choices Printout’ link is used to take the printout of filled up choices. You can go through the printout and modify your choices, if desired. Finally you should lock the choices.
  12. If you do not lock your choices before the last date and time then the latest saved choices will be automatically locked and allotment will be done on this basis.
  13. On the scheduled date of counseling, the locked choices will be processed. The list of candidates along with allotted College will be displayed on this website. 
  14. The candidates are required to download the allotment letter from this website. One challan for filling the admission fee of Rs 20,429, one check list and application form will also be printed. Deposit the fee in your nearest Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) branch. Report to the college allotted along with the stamped fee challan and other documents as per the check list.
